Welcome to the Dallas and Sophie Memorial Website

We lost our two Springers within eight months of each other and had a really hard time dealing with our grief.  We decided that we would try and set up a website, dedicated to our two pups as well as other pets that have crossed over Rainbow Bridge .

The pain seems almost unbearable and you vow you cannot go through it ever again.  Only someone who has been there can begin to understand but no one can help you feel better.

Take the time to –

  • Remember the day you brought your pet home, how you felt, how your life suddenly changed.
  • Remember the first day you did not have to clean up a pee or a poop inside the house.  What an accomplishment that was.
  • Remember the first night they slept right through.  You thought it would never happen but it did.
  • Remember the first bark or meow when they finally found their voice.  Remember how often you heard it once they found it.
  • Remember the first kiss you got from them.  Smack on the face – how gross – but you loved it.
  • Remember all the silly things they would do – it seemed no other animal did those things.  You still talk about them.
  • Remember all the times they made you laugh even if they were being bad.
  • Remember how blessed you were to be given the time you had with your pet.  You were the chosen one.
  • Remember you will be reunited one day when they meet you at Rainbow Bridge .
